We are pleased to announce that the search for Morristown Beard School’s next Head of School has been launched. This search is being led by Michael Morais P’22, ‘24, ‘26, Philicia Levinson P’19 and 11 others, consisting of alumni, parents, alumni parents, faculty, and staff. In early October, Mr. Morais and Mrs. Levinson, on behalf of the Search Committee, wrote to the MBS community to inform them that they had engaged Resource Group 175 (RG175), a well-respected search firm specializing in independent school leadership positions, to lead the search.

Consultants Debbie Reed and Tom Hudnut from RG175 visited campus in late October and met with members of the MBS faculty and staff, students, parents, and alumni to best understand the community. Shortly after their visit, the firm conducted a confidential survey, which was distributed via email to faculty, staff, students, parents, alumni parents, alumni, and trustees.

After their visit to campus, the position statement, written by RG175, was posted in early November on their website for potential candidates to view. Those who are interested in applying for the position should visit the RG175 website.
