Beyond Crimson Athletics

Morristown Beard School is proud to celebrate alumna Leah Stecker ’22, who was selected by the Boston Fleet in the third round (27th overall) of the 2026 Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) Draft, achieving a lifelong dream and writing a new chapter in Morristown Beard’s athletic history. Stecker recently completed her collegiate career at Penn State University, building on a remarkable legacy that began at Morristown Beard under legendary Head Coach Bruce Driver P’04, ’10, GP’32.

A four-year member of the Crimson boys lacrosse program from 2010–14, Trevor capped his MBS career with a remarkable senior season as team captain. He won 80% of his faceoffs, scored 42 goals, and added 22 assists, earning First Team All-State and U.S. Lacrosse All-American honors. Trevor went on to become one of the most accomplished faceoff specialists in lacrosse history at the University of Denver, setting NCAA records, winning a national championship, and representing Team USA.
