MBS Students Go the Distance for Girls’ Education at Annual GLOW 5K

Under sunny skies and surrounded by school spirit, students from both the Middle and Upper School laced up their sneakers and hit the track for the annual GLOW 5K — a vibrant fundraiser supporting the Malala Fund and global girls’ education. Hosted by the GLOW Club (Girls Leadership Outreach and Worth), the event buzzed with energy as music filled the air, snacks fueled the runners, and every step taken pushed the cause forward.  The GLOW Club brought passion and purpose to every detail, turning the 5K into more than just a race: it was a celebration of empowerment and unity.

The GLOW Club is guided by dedicated faculty advisors Laura Champion and Zoe Jameson-Shea. The student leaders are Mae Bailey '25, Gabriella Biamonte '25, Katherine Chandler '26, Lily Horowitz '26,  Kassy Patino '25, and Lola Schleifer '27.
