MBS Faculty and Staff Engage in a Day of Professional Growth

While students enjoyed a break from classes, the faculty and staff at Morristown Beard School dedicated the day to professional development, collaboration, and personal growth. The program offered a wide range of learning opportunities, giving educators the chance to explore innovative teaching strategies, deepen their understanding of student engagement, and focus on wellness and community-building.

Throughout the day, faculty participated in sessions that encouraged creativity, reflection, and hands-on learning. From exploring new approaches to classroom discussions and project-based learning to experimenting with mindfulness practices, wellness workshops, and artistic expression, there was something to inspire every participant. The day also offered practical skill-building opportunities, including CPR re-certification and strategies for designing assessments that meet the needs of modern learners.

By engaging in this variety of experiences, MBS faculty and staff strengthened their professional practice, nurtured a sense of community, and embraced new ideas to bring back to their classrooms.
