Morristown Beard Community Observes National Day of Silence

On Friday, April 12, members of the MBS community are observing the National Day of Silence in which students across the country vow to take a form of silence to call attention to the silencing effect of anti-LGBTQIA+ bullying and harassment.

During the day, some members of the community took a vow of silence and wore pins while others wore stickers and dressed in tie dye to show support without being silent.  At the end of the day, members of the MBS community participated in “Breaking the Silence,” a an opportunity to debrief the day and come together to support each other.
